About this course

The Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment has been developed for delivery in a training environment and has been designed to:

develop learners’ skills and knowledge at this level.
prepare learners to take further qualifications to develop their skills, knowledge and understanding within their chosen craft.
fulfil CSCS training requirements for the Labourer's card.

What you will study

This qualification comprises the 1 mandatory unit;

Health and safety in a construction environment.

The programme will be taught using a combination of lectures and tutorials. The programme will be assessed using a multiple-choice examination and the completion of a workbook.

Entry requirements

Learners must be aged 16 and over and have English Language GCSE grade A*-D or a level 1 COMMS qualification.

On the successful completion of this training you will then be able to apply to sit your CSCS test at a Pearson Centre for the Green Labourer's card.
