About this course
This qualification is ideal for people professionals who wish to develop their personal effectiveness and business acumen. Learners will understand how to design and manage your own strategy, enhance people management skills – and learn how best to lead.
Advanced level builds on the Associate level qualifications.
Advanced CIPD qualification which builds on Associate Level qualifications.
This course runs over 18 months and is worth 120 credits. Our next cohort will begin late 2025/early 2026, applications will open closer to the time.
On successful completion of this qualification, individuals will receive Associate membership of CIPD, they will also have the eligibility to apply for Chartered Membership based on specified criteria.
What you will study
The course gives learners more breadth and depth of knowledge while developing skills application in a strategic context. Consisting of 8 Behaviours are aligned to the Profession Map.

- Current employment in a Strategic People Management related role or have strategic experience. - After applying, you will be asked to complete a Personal Statement Questionnaire and a Virtual Interview with the Course Tutor who will then assess your suitability for this level of CIPD qualification against CIPD guidelines. If suitable, you will be awarded with an offer. - Once enrolled, CAVC will send a link to set this up your CIPD Membership which is essential to completing any CIPD qualification. Please note that the course cost does not cover CIPD Membership as it is a personal membership.

Teaching and assessment
The course will be delivered through face-to-face, classroom-based learning every week.
To obtain this qualification, you will need to submit assignments for every unit.
