Pre-Course learning is essential. You must have a working knowldege of BS7671 A+22 and Guidance Note 3.

This qualification is intended for qualified electricians/supervisors who have experience in inspection and testing and certifying electrical installations, candidates should have/hold a qualification in the current edition of BS7671 and have a working knowledge of the current IET Guidance note 3.


Before being accepted on the course you must provide evidence that you  meet the entry requirements. N/SVQ Level 2/3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent earlier certification that includes Inspection & Testing. A recognised Part P competence certification that includes Inspection & Testing and a current BS 7671 Requirements for Electrical Installations qualification. Current ECS Gold Card, JIB Electrician or Approved Electrician Card.
