This course will suit anyone who is interested in a career in Engineering.

The course develops your knowledge and practical skills which can lead to a career in Electrical, Mechanical, Maintenance, Building Services or Design Engineering.

Entry requirements

5 GCSEs Grade A* - C to include Maths A* - B, Science A*-C and English A*-D Learners will need to provide their own overalls and safety boots for this course.

Career prospects & further study

Successful completion of this course will enable students to return for the EAL Diploma or Extended Diploma in Advanced Engineering Technologies, as well as prepare them for entry into a Technical/Engineering Apprenticeship.
