About this course

This Electrical Level 2 course will suit anyone who is interested in a career in Electrical Installation. This course is suitable as a stepping stone to becoming an Electrician.

What you will study

The training will fall into the following categories:

A.    Electrical Theory

Basic electrical installation theory

Principles of electro technology

Establishing effective working relationships

Construction site and workshop health and safety standards

B.    Electrical Practical

Basic electrical wiring and circuits

Forming and assembling wiring enclosures

Basic inspecting and testing of electrical installations

C.   Essential Skills Wales

Level 2 Communication

Level 2 Application of Number

D.   Work experience

Students will be required to complete a minimum of 30 hours’ work experience over the academic year.

Registration Fee Payable on Enrolment: £30.00

Entry requirements

4 GCSEs Grade A* - D must include Maths A* - C.
