Careers and Ideas
Take part in a huge range of activities outside your course – including clubs, visiting guest speakers, competitions, trips and more. We offer unique opportunities for you to become more entrepreneurial and employable – with competitions in College, throughout the UK and even across the pond in NYC. We also run a huge range of clubs and activities from debate club or drama, to sign language and Welsh. You can get involved in a range of sports, from running club and 5-a-side tournaments to fitness classes and even playing for our College teams. You will also benefit from Careers Advice and Guidance, support with your CV, progression and university applications from our dedicated team.
We are here to support the next generation of entrepreneurs. Be inspired by others, learn about business, develop your ideas and we can help you take the first step to being your own boss.
We are supported by the Welsh Government Youth Entrepreneurship Strategy which aims to provide all learners with an opportunity to develop their entrepreneurial skills.
At our City Centre Campus we have a space for you to come and talk to us about your business ideas. It’s called the Ideas Centre; here we offer a package of support providing students with start-up advice, mentoring, workshops, desk space and more.

We also organise lots of different events which not only develop your employability skills but also introduce you to leading industry experts.
