Foundations of Work

Learners will run events and develop small business ideas with the support of their teachers. The course will also help learners to develop the organisation and self-management skills that are essential to the world of work.  

The curriculum recognises that learners on this course are starting their college education with different experiences of education, and the course is designed to develop the ability to work collaboratively and independently.

You will want to progress into independent work. Applicants would benefit from achieving 3 GCSEs Grades E-G. Alternatively, applicants will be considered based on interview and a satisfactory skills scan.
