About this course

A fun and unintimidating exploration of clay and ceramic techniques. Week by week you will learn different processes to incorporate into your ceramic practice.

This course is suitable for complete beginners and those with a bit of experience.

What you will study

Throughout the course you will experiment with techniques such as slab building, coiling, press moulding and glazing. You will combine techniques, as you choose, to create your ceramic pieces. This will include being shown how to use the equipment safely and taught any health and safety aspects of using the different materials and equipment.

Course fee per year

Part-time enrolment fee: £35.00

Entry requirements

Applicants should have a keen interest in ceramics and be motivated to learn, no qualifications or portfolio needed.
