Students are expected to carry out treatments on each other in the class, models and paying clients for practise and assessments. Students will also have to undertake mandatory placement on five Saturday’s at the City Centre campus on a rota and two weeks of commercial work experience.

In addition to this, students will need to purchase a uniform, beauty kit, make up kit and text book (Approx. total of £500).

3 GCSEs Grades A* - D including English Language (or equivalent i.e. Key skills or work based qualifications). Alternatively, successful achievement of Level 1 (Beauty) and satisfactory reference from Course Tutor to indicate good behavior, attendance and progress OR prior learning and work experience.

You will be taught in professional salons by experienced staff. There will be additional opportunities to undertake training with Elemis and other industry professionals.

There will be assignments, worksheets and online multi-choice question exams as well as practical assessments on clients.
