Cardiff and Vale College Presents ‘School We Will Rock You’

Cardiff and Vale college proudly presenst, ‘Schools We Will Rock You’ the musical. Taking place between Tuesday March 27th and Thursday March 29th.

Ben Elton’s futuristic tale based on Queen’s greatest hits will pack the Michael Sheen Theatre for three nights, at Cardiff and Vale College, city centre campus.

Students from across the college are involved in the production – as performers and musicians. They will be joined by staff and tutors to stage the production.

The starring role, Galileo, will be played by Matthew Beatty, with Cerys Simmons as Scaramouche; Connor Charles as Britney Spears and Pop; Alex Hurley as Killer Queen; Rachel Phelps as Meatloaf and Adam Greenslade as Khashoggi.

Cardiff and Vale’s Enrichment Co-ordinator and director, Lisa Jones says:

“We are delighted to have the opportunity to stage the ‘We Will Rock You’ musical at the college. All of our students have worked so hard over the past few months to perfect their performances, ready for opening night.

“This is the first time at the college, that a production like this has been staged and we are thrilled to have an opportunity to support and showcase our student’s talents in this way.

“We pride ourselves on high standards and the sole purpose of this enrichment initiative has been to provide an enjoyable experience for students, while developing their performance and professional skills.”

“We have such a talented cast that have worked tirelessly over the last few months. We are so excited for show week and look forward to welcoming audiences to our Michael Sheen Theatre.”
